The Department of Mathematics and Physics aims to teach and perform research in the following subjects: algebra, mathematical analysis, probability and statistics and discrete mathematics in order to equip students with analytical problem-solving skills. The department also undertook research of stochastic analysis and linear algebra, publishing several articles in prestigious journals and holding workshops. In addition, core programs have been chosen, such as fuzzy logic and stochastic differential equations, to best suit students’ interests.
The Department also organizes Physics classes from basic to advanced levels (Physics 1,2,3), which are delivered by lecturers having sufficient experience in both teaching and research, with projects funded by the university and the Ministry of Education and Training.
All of the department staff have obtained their Master or doctorate degrees and are dedicated to teaching and applying theories into practice.
