Documentation for Practicing Database Management System

This documentation is designed for the course "Database Management System" with the course code IS210. It provides practical guidance on techniques and tools for manipulating a relational database using a specific Database Management System (DBMS), namely Oracle. The document is tailored to support the Database Management System course at the University of Information Technology, National University Ho Chi Minh City.

The documentation introduces tools within Oracle, implements data definition language, data manipulation language, simple and advanced SQL query languages, data control language, transaction commands, and operations on various components of the database such as synonyms, indexes, sequences. Additionally, it covers the PL/SQL procedural language, including control structures, exceptions, cursors, functions, stored procedures, and triggers. The document includes numerous illustrative examples across different database schemas to help students grasp concepts and issues more easily.
