The keynote speaker for this year's UIT TALK is Professor Toru Ishida, an honorary professor at Kyoto University and a member of IEEE. He has led IEICE as President from 2021-2022 and worked at the Japan Science Council from 2011-2017. Currently, he holds the position of Distinguished Visiting Professor at Hong Kong Baptist University. The topic that Professor Toru Ishida will present is "Agents and Avatars in the Metaverse."
