Youth Union Day - Good Work Day: Journey to the Root at the Iron Triangle Tunnels Historical Site

In response to the peak period of the Youth Union Day "Good Work Day" in 2024, celebrating the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (26/3/1931 - 26/3/2024), today, on March 24, 2024, the Youth Union of the University of Information Technology collaborated with Student Units 1, 2, and 3 to organize a journey to the root at the historical site of the Iron Triangle Tunnels (An Điền, An Tây, and Chánh Phú Hòa communes, Bến Cát district, Bình Dương province).

This journey to the "Iron Triangle" was attended by the following comrades:

Comrade Đặng Văn Em - Member of the Party Committee and Chairman of the School Union;
Comrade Nguyễn Thành Hiệp - Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Youth Union, and Secretary of Student Unit 2;
Comrade Nguyễn Nhật Bằng - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union and Secretary of Student Unit 1;
Comrade Tạ Thu Thủy - Secretary of Student Unit 3;

Together with comrades from the Youth Union and other Party members from Student Units CBSV1, 2, 3, and outstanding Youth Union members.

At the Iron Triangle Tunnels historical site, all attending comrades spent time paying respects at the memorial house for fallen heroes to honor those who sacrificed for the country's independence and freedom. Additionally, the comrades were given a tour of the tunnel models and listened to explanations about the historical landmarks.

Upholding the good traditions of the University of Information Technology's youth as a reliable reserve force for the Party, the work of training and educating young union members to become outstanding, worthy of standing in the Party's ranks, is increasingly developing strongly. In this journey to the root activity, the Youth Union organized a meeting between young Party members, Youth Union officials, and awarded the list of outstanding Youth Union members for the second term of the academic year 2023-2024. During this meeting, the young Party members and Youth Union officials had the opportunity to express their views and contribute ideas to the Party Committee and the University of Information Technology's Youth Union.

It is hoped that after today's journey to the root, the young Party members and Youth Union officials will enhance their patriotism and national pride through visiting and learning about historical relics, adding to their pride in the brave tradition of the Vietnamese nation. Moreover, this journey serves as a reminder to the younger generation of their responsibilities in continuing the ancestral traditions and contributing to the development of the country.
