ENHANCING LEARNER QUALITY
– INVESTING IN SUSTAINABLE VALUE

Higher education today faces increasingly rigorous demands in training quality, international integration, and adaptability to the rapid advancement of science and technology. Embracing this trend, 2025 marks a period of strong transformation for the University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM (UIT), as comprehensive, systematic investments in learners are implemented with a clear orientation toward sustainable value.
With a learner-centered philosophy, UIT continues to refine its learning environment and rigorously standardize quality assurance processes, thereby continuously improving training quality and the overall learning experience in the digital era.
Investment in Infrastructure – Creating a Modern, Learner-Centered Learning Environment
In 2025, UIT further intensified investments to upgrade infrastructure in line with its vision of building a modern, smart, and learner-friendly technological university.
Over the past year, UIT completed and put into operation 10 classrooms in Building C, along with 6 expanded classrooms, promptly meeting the growing learning demands of students. Numerous lecture halls, classrooms, and training facilities have continued to be upgraded and commissioned, facilitating the implementation of modern teaching methods and strengthening experiential and hands-on learning.
In addition, UIT completed the 1/500 detailed zoning plan for Building B, paving the way for construction to commence in 2026. This marks a crucial preparatory step, reflecting the University’s long-term vision for expanding spaces for training, research, and student life to support sustainable development.
Alongside academic facilities, UIT also expanded pickleball courts, gradually fostering a dynamic campus environment that encourages students to balance academic pursuits, physical well-being, and holistic development.
Complementing the enhancement of lecture halls and student spaces, the University continues to invest in and upgrade equipment for specialized laboratories in key areas such as Information Security, IC Design, Information Systems, and Multimedia Communications, meeting practice-oriented training requirements and supporting the development of UIT’s strategic disciplines.
Investment in infrastructure serves as a long-term foundation for improving training quality, enhancing learning experiences, and building a modern, professional academic environment for UIT learners.

Educational Quality Accreditation – A Commitment to Rigorous, Substantive, and Internationally Integrated Training
Alongside infrastructure development, quality assurance and accreditation remain among UIT’s top priorities in 2025.
During the year, UIT continued to conduct self-assessment and curriculum improvement activities in accordance with both national and international standards. Notably, four academic programs were accredited under the international ASIIN standards in 2025, marking a significant milestone in UIT’s roadmap toward standardization and internationalization. The evaluation process was conducted thoroughly and comprehensively.
In November, the University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM welcomed an external evaluation panel from ASIIN. As a result, five academic programs—at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels—successfully completed ASIIN evaluations, covering the fields of Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, and Computer Engineering.
In parallel with program accreditation, UIT continued to strengthen data collection for international university rankings, enhancing transparency and comparability in the context of global integration. Surveys on working conditions for faculty and staff were also conducted, providing essential data to improve the working environment and enhance institutional human resources quality.
Notably, the quality assurance technology system continued to be refined. UIT’s quality management software reached approximately 80% completion, while the implementation of post-accreditation quality improvement reports achieved about 70% progress.

As 2025 draws to a close, UIT’s journey to enhance learner quality stands firmly reaffirmed. This serves as a vital foundation for the University to further strengthen its role as a high-quality institution for information and communication technology education, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to confidently enter the digital era and contribute meaningfully to national development.
