THE ENTERPRISE COLLABORATION ECOSYSTEM IN TRAINING AND CAREER ORIENTATION AT UIT

In the context of rapid technological advancement, the demand for high-quality human resources continues to grow. The University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM (UIT) identifies the strong linkage between education and real-world practice as a key strategic direction, gradually building a comprehensive enterprise collaboration ecosystem that accompanies students throughout their development journey and effectively meets labor market demands.

Practice-Oriented Training in Collaboration with Enterprises

In 2025, the University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM (UIT) further strengthened the implementation of training models closely connected with enterprises, notably through its collaboration with VNG in organizing the course “Practical Game Programming Skills Development.” This initiative represents a breakthrough in technology workforce training, as it marks the first time a university course has been fully conducted within a professional creative environment at VNG Campus.

Designed under the “learning by doing” approach, the course offers students hands-on, real-world experiences. Classes are held directly at VNG Campus, allowing students to immerse themselves in corporate culture and leverage available professional resources. Through this model, students enhance their career-oriented mindset, teamwork skills, and ability to adapt quickly to the practical requirements of the game industry.

Beyond course-based collaboration, in 2025 UIT also expanded strategic partnerships with major corporations, including CT Group. The cooperation agreement focuses on developing high-quality human resources through joint curriculum development aligned with industry needs, organizing internships, company visits, experiential activities, and creating opportunities for UIT students to participate in real-world technology projects and problem-solving at enterprises.

In parallel, the course “IT Project Implementation with SCRUM,” jointly organized by the Faculty of Information Systems and Axon Active Vietnam, further exemplifies UIT’s practice-oriented training philosophy. The course aims to help students not only master theoretical knowledge but also directly experience the Scrum process in real project environments—one of the most widely adopted and effective software project management methodologies today.

Experiencing Real-World Working Environments

In addition to practice-integrated training programs, the University of Information Technology regularly organizes enterprise visits and experiential activities for students across various academic disciplines. These visits allow students to directly observe professional working environments, corporate culture, and real operational processes, while also providing opportunities to interact with industry experts and UIT alumni currently working in enterprises.

Visits to major companies such as VNG, KMS Technology, and NAB Vietnam offer students a more comprehensive and concrete view of career pathways in the information technology sector. Through in-depth sharing and discussions, students gain insights into required skill sets, recruitment standards, and career development pathways within enterprises, enabling them to proactively plan their studies and personal development from an early stage.

These enterprise experience activities not only help narrow the gap between education and practice but also serve as an essential preparation step, equipping UIT students with adaptability and readiness to integrate into professional working environments after graduation.

Recruitment Connectivity and Career Orientation

Within UIT’s enterprise collaboration ecosystem, UIT Career Day and UIT Job Fair play a vital role as bridges connecting the University, students, and the business community. Each year, these events attract numerous domestic and international technology companies and corporations such as ELCA, KMS Technology, SAP, Ban Vien, Bosch, Endava, and Netcompany, offering a wide range of internship, employment, and career exploration opportunities for UIT students.

Students Seeking Job Opportunities on Campus

Through on-site recruitment activities, career counseling, and direct engagement with enterprises, students gain early access to workforce demands, recruitment requirements, and labor market trends in the IT sector. At the same time, sharing sessions by corporate representatives and UIT alumni help students better define their career paths and prepare comprehensively in terms of knowledge, skills, and professional mindset before entering the workforce.

Beyond recruitment, UIT Career Day and UIT Job Fair also contribute to strengthening sustainable partnerships between the University and enterprises in education, research, and human resource development. Through these initiatives, UIT continues to affirm its role as a practice-oriented institution, accompanying students on their journey of integration and career development in the digital era.

With an increasingly extensive and in-depth enterprise collaboration ecosystem, UIT consistently reinforces its position as a learner-centered, practice-oriented training environment while effectively meeting society’s demand for high-quality human resources. The close partnership between the University and enterprises serves as a critical foundation enabling UIT students to confidently integrate and successfully conquer the labor market in the digital age.
