UIT Job Fair 2025 – A Strong Bridge Between Students and Tech Enterprises
On the morning of May 16th, the UIT Job Fair 2025 took place energetically at the University of Information Technology - Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (UIT), attracting thousands of students and IT companies from both domestic and international markets. As a regular annual event of the university, UIT Job Fair serves as a "launchpad" that helps students gain real-world experience, better understand the labor market, and choose a career path that aligns with their individual strengths.
The Job Fair Draws a Large Number of Students
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Lưu Thùy Ngân, Vice-Rector of UIT, shared: “The 2025 Student and Enterprise Day is part of the university's annual activities, aiming to connect students with businesses. It gives them the opportunity to be recruited, secure internships, and eventually find good permanent jobs after graduation.”
This year, the program was organized on a large scale with a variety of activities: recruitment booths, quick interviews, CV consultations, career orientation, interactive mini-games, and expert talkshows featuring seasoned HR professionals and technology engineers.
Students Meet and Network with Companies Right on Campus
From early morning, the campus was lively with the presence of renowned companies such as VNG, SAP, AZAPA Engineering, Netcompany Vietnam, Golden Owl Solution, Renesas Design Vietnam, Shopee, SPX Express, Techcombank, and more, offering thousands of opportunities ranging from internships to full-time positions for students. Company representatives not only provided recruitment information but also took the time to share insights, offer career guidance, and engage with students in a friendly and approachable manner.
Nguyễn Phan Hoàng Long, a first-year Information Security student, said, “I see the campus is very lively today, with many companies participating. As a first-year student, I am focusing on companies that recruit in my field to prepare for the future, and I will definitely join again in the coming years.”
Notably, the quick interview activity at the booths allowed students to present themselves directly to recruiters and receive immediate feedback. UIT Job Fair was not just a recruitment event but also an opportunity for students to enhance their communication skills, network, and get a real taste of the working environment. Through this, they had a chance to demonstrate their abilities, choose the right career direction, and improve their chances of finding a job after graduation.
Lê Trần Đức Thiện, a student in the Vietnam-Japan Information Technology program, shared, “I’m interested in the gaming industry, so I visited the VNG booth to learn more about the real-world job and the skill requirements of the company. In addition, the event has many engaging activities, and a lot of enthusiastic students are participating, making the atmosphere very lively and fun.”

UIT Job Fair 2025 was not only a recruitment event but also a space for hands-on learning, where students could hone their soft skills, expand their network, and confidently showcase their potential. The event once again demonstrated the University of Information Technology’s commitment to accompanying students on their career development journey and reinforced its role as an active bridge between the university and the tech business community.
