Selection of Citizens for the People's Police: 200 Quotas for the IT Sector

Greetings everyone!

The University of Information Technology has received a dispatch from the Administrative Management Police Department regarding the recruitment of citizens into the People's Police as follows:

  1. Selection Criteria:

Citizens; officials, civil servants, and employees currently working in central and local government departments, professional officers, and career soldiers serving in the Vietnam People's Army, individuals receiving salaries in the People's Armed Forces, and those working in essential organizations.

  1. Quotas and Specializations:
  • Information Technology: Fields including information technology, computer science, computer networks and data communications, computer engineering technology, artificial intelligence, information systems, software engineering, information security, computer engineering: Total of 200 quotas;

  • Electrical Engineering: Fields including electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunications technology; electrical engineering; electrical and electronic technology: 2 quotas;

  • Precision Air Conditioning Engineering: Fields including thermal engineering, thermal engineering technology: 6 quotas.

  1. Selection Standards:
  • Political standards in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.

  • Educational qualifications: Graduated from university or higher education institutions with majors corresponding to the approved quotas.

  • Graduation rank: Graduated with a Good or higher rank (excluding cases of foreign university degrees or master's, doctoral degrees without ranking).

  • Age: Under 30 years old.

  • Health: Meeting the health standards for recruitment into the People's Police as stipulated by the Minister of Public Security and the following regulations:

    • Height: For males from 1m62 to 1m95; for females from 1m56 to 1m80.

    • Vision: Visual acuity without glasses should be 9-10/10. If there is refractive error, it should not exceed 05 diopters.

  • Priority: Priority given to citizens who graduated with a Excellent or higher rank; have work experience corresponding to the educational level at units, companies, enterprises for 3 years or more. In addition, for candidates in the information technology field, priority will be given to those with international awards, certificates in information technology.

  • The ratio of female citizens recruited should be below 10% of the total approved quotas.

  • Conditions, standards, procedures for selection, as well as salary, allowances, and rank levels, shall be implemented according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
  1. Workplace:

Working at the headquarters of the Administrative Management Police Department for Social Order in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City (arranged according to work requirements).

  1. Application Documents:
  • Voluntary application for service in the People's Police;

  • Self-declared personal history form (according to the Ministry of Public Security's template);

  • Certified copy of birth certificate;

  • Certified copy of diploma, certificate of training corresponding to the announced quotas, and academic transcript (certified);

    For foreign-issued diplomas, certificates, and transcripts, they must be translated into Vietnamese (certified) and recognized as equivalent by the competent authority under the Ministry of Education and Training's regulations;

  • Certificate of membership in youth union, party membership (if any);

  • Certificate of health issued by district-level hospitals or above within 30 days from the date of application submission as regulated;

  • 4cm x 6cm photos: 4 color photos taken within the last 6 months from the date of application submission.

  1. Time and Location for Document Submission:

Documents will be accepted from March 15, 2024, to April 23, 2024.
