Students Compete in National Qualification Round of ICPC at UIT

Following the global ICPC standards, the national round competition starts at 8 AM and ends at 1 PM. During these 5 hours, participating teams are required to solve 13 algorithmic problems.

On November 5th, UIT welcomed 45 teams from 7 universities to the ICPC 2023 National Qualification Round: VNUHCM-University of Information Technology (UIT), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), Saigon International University (SIU), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), FPT University (FPT Uni), Thu Dau Mot University (TDMU), Eastern International University (EIU) participating in the ICPC National Qualification Round. Among them, 23 teams represented the University of Information.

The ICPC National Competition in 2023 took place nationwide on November 5th, 2023, and UIT was one of the locations for the national round. The ICPC National Competition in 2023 will select the strongest teams nationwide to represent Vietnam in the ICPC Asia Hue City 2023, held from December 7th to December 8th, 2023.

ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) is the oldest and most prestigious international programming competition for university and college students worldwide. The competition aims to enhance intelligence, improve skills, promote teamwork, and encourage English proficiency. Following this, the 32nd Vietnam Informatics Olympics for Students (OLP’23), PROCON Vietnam, and the ICPC ASIA HUE City International Collegiate Programming Contest will be held at the University of Sciences, Hue University from December 5th to December 8th, 2023.
