The CoPlay with UIT 2023 competition, namely the Remotebot AI Challenge, organized by TeamGRIT (South Korea) in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer Engineering at VNUHCM-University of Information Technology (UIT), has found its champion. Participants in the competition experienced unique challenges by controlling cars without physically touching them or using any control buttons; instead, they utilized hand gestures for navigation.
Drawing interest from 83 registered teams and 310 participants representing 11 different universities, CoPlay with UIT 2023 showcased its allure. After over two intense months and two highly competitive rounds, the top 8 outstanding teams advanced to the final round, which featured a thrilling racing challenge on the track.
Through eight rounds filled with tension and excitement, cars raced neck and neck, encountering unexpected situations and surprises from the competing teams. The competition successfully identified a deserving and impressive champion.
The overall results crowned the First, Second, and Third prizes to three teams from UIT's Faculty of Computer Engineering: LTTL, DMX, and Ultron, respectively. Additionally, the Encouragement Awards were given to teams Whatever (University of Information Technology), BKUIT_AH, FlexiLink, Mler (University of Technology), and SGU Team (University of Saigon). Concluding the journey named CoPlay with UIT 2023, besides the total cash prizes amounting to 75,000,000 VND, participants truly experienced moments of intellectual challenge, skill testing, and incredibly engaging and enriching knowledge.
