UIT takes the lead on day 1 of the CTF Jeopardy in the General category of the ASEAN Cyber Shield (ACS) competition.

The ACS competition spans 4 days, consisting of 2 stages (2 categories: Student and General):

November 21-22: CTF Jeopardy Round

November 23-24: CTF Attack-Defense Round

UIT is one of the four representatives from Vietnam participating in the General category, comprising 4 members currently enrolled in the 2020 Information Security Honor class (Faculty of Computer Networks and Communications): Nguyen Dang Nguyen, Phan Vinh Khang, To Dinh Nguyen, and Le Khac Trung Nam.

The ASEAN Cyber Shield (ACS) 2023 competition is a hacking contest aimed at discovering and nurturing cybersecurity talent in ASEAN through international collaboration between South Korea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The competition is open to citizens and students in ASEAN, with a total prize pool of 77,000 USD. The event takes place in the capital city of Jakarta, Indonesia, and includes a qualifying round in the form of Jeopardy and a final round focusing on Attack-Defense. Each team consists of no more than 4 members, and each country is allowed a maximum of 4 teams in each category (Student and General).
