After 32 hours of intense competition, the team "The Council of Sheep" from the VNUHCM -University of Information Technology, excellently secured the first prize in the Vietnam round and earned a ticket to the Finals held in Da Nang City. The team, consisting of five members from TeamT - Wanna.W1n Club under the Information Security Laboratory, is currently enrolled in the Honor Program for Information Security, Class of 2021:

The ISITDTU CTF 2023 competition, focusing on cybersecurity, is organized by Duy Tan University, promising opportunities for the community to test their skills and enhance their knowledge. The event consists of two rounds: qualifiers and finals.
The qualifiers took place online from 01:00 UTC on October 14 to 09:00 UTC on October 15, 2023, lasting for 32 hours, with challenges from various fields such as PWN, REVERSE, CRYPTO, WEB, MISC, and OSINT. This competition is open to all cybersecurity enthusiasts without any restrictions. For teams from Vietnam, there is a chance to win significant prizes, with 6 million VND for the first prize, 3 million VND for the second prize, and 1.5 million VND for the third prize, provided they participate in the finals at Duy Tan University.
The finals, following an attack-defense format, will be held at Duy Tan University in Da Nang, Vietnam, on December 10, 2023. The prizes for this round are even more attractive, with 30 million VND for the first prize, 15 million VND for the second prize, 7 million VND for the third prize, and 2 million VND for the encouragement prize.
To participate in the finals, Vietnamese teams need to register their team name and the name of their university/institute/company within 240 minutes from the start of the qualifiers. The organizing committee will select the top 5 teams from both within and outside the country to participate in the finals. Each team is allowed to have a maximum of 5 members.
Especially, the organizing committee provides financial support for travel and accommodation for the teams participating in the finals. Each team will receive accommodation for 2 nights at a hotel, and for Vietnamese student teams, they will be supported with 6 million VND to cover their travel expenses to Da Nang.
