On the afternoon of April 8th, VNU-HCM and Deakin University (Australia) held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation to promote research and education collaboration in artificial intelligence (AI) and other fields. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hai Quan - Director of VNU-HCM and Prof. Iain Martin - Vice-Chancellor of Deakin University, co-chaired the ceremony.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hai Quan - Director of VNU-HCM, stated that developing interdisciplinary research programs, particularly in the fields of information technology and AI, is one of the tasks to implement the development strategy of VNU-HCM for the period 2021-2030.
Mr. Quan emphasized: "Based on over 10 years of research cooperation and co-supervision of doctoral students with professors from the Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute (A2I2) at Deakin University, VNU-HCM identifies Deakin University as a strategic partner in the field of AI and information technology collaboration."
