In accordance with the plan for the year 2023, the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City National University (VNU-HCM) is organizing a soft volleyball tournament to celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of the People's Army of Vietnam and the National Defense Day for the entire people in 2023, as follows:
1. Purpose:
- Actively celebrate the 79th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Army of Vietnam (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2022) and the 34th anniversary of the National Defense Day for the entire people (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2022).
- Provide a healthy playing field for officials, civil servants, and workers; enhance physical fitness, contribute to building a sports training movement within the VNU-HCM Trade Union.
- Strengthen solidarity and exchange between the base-level Trade Unions affiliated with the VNU-HCM Trade Union.
2. Participants:
- Officials, civil servants, and workers with labor contracts lasting more than 6 months in the base-level Trade Unions affiliated with the VNU-HCM Trade Union (with tournament regulations).
- Each base-level Trade Union forms a softball volleyball team or collaborates with other units to form a softball volleyball team (with the registration form for participation). A softball volleyball team consists of 6 people (2 men, 4 women).
3. Time and Venue:
- Registration period: from November 9 to November 20, 2023. The registration list should be sent in writing to the VNU-HCM Trade Union Office, Room 422, Executive Office of VNU-HCM, Linh Trung Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, or contact Ms. Ngo My Huong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Office of the VNU-HCM Trade Union.
- Drawing, grouping, and opening ceremony: 07:00, December 17, 2023 (Sunday).
- Competition time: 07:30 to 11:30, December 17, 2023 (Sunday).
- Venue: Volleyball courts B1, B2, Center for National Defense Education and Security, VNU-HCM, 1 Le Quy Don Street, Dong Hoa Ward, Di An City, Binh Duong Province.
