On January 22 afternoon, the delegation from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (PolyU) had a visit and working session with VNU-HCM.
As part of this activity, the PolyU delegation visited the University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM.
The PolyU delegation was represented by Professor Teng Jin-guang (Dang Cam Quang) - President of PolyU, Professor Young Ben (Duong Lap Vi) - Vice President of PolyU in charge of student affairs and international relations, Ms. Jenny Chu - Senior Manager of the Global Collaboration Office of PolyU; representatives from the International Relations and Project Development Board, and the Research and Development Board.
Welcoming and working with the PolyU delegation, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Nam - Head of the Office of External Relations represented UIT.
At the meeting, UIT representatives introduced the training capabilities in the fields of Information Technology and Technology Transfer at UIT. In addition, the PolyU delegation also visited the Smart Classroom with modern facilities and equipment fully equipped to serve the learning process of students.
Established in 1937, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology ranks 65th in the QS World University Rankings 2024 for the world's best universities and 26th in Asia. The university excels in engineering, computer science, environmental science, supply chain management, and other fields.
