How to check the competency assessment exam scores of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City?

The National University of Ho Chi Minh City (NUHCM) is expected to announce the results of the first round of the competency assessment exam a week after the exam. So when will this announcement be made?

According to the anticipated schedule, NUHCM will release the scores for the competency assessment exam's first round shortly after one week. Therefore, the announcement of these scores should be expected soon.

In a conversation with a reporter from Thanh Nien newspaper on the afternoon of April 14th, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Testing and Quality Assessment Center (NUHCM), stated that the organization of grading for the first round of the competency assessment exam has been completed at this time. Tomorrow morning (April 15th), the Examining Council will convene a meeting, and the results of the exam will be announced afterward.

To check the exam scores, candidates can access their personal accounts on the website https://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn/dgnl/.

It's important to note that after receiving their scores, Dr. Chinh advises, "Starting from April 16th, candidates can register for admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam at NUHCM and other universities that use these scores for admissions. Candidates should compare their achieved scores from the first round with their expected scores if they plan to retake the exam to decide whether to participate in the second round."

From April 16th to May 7th, NUHCM will open registration for the second round of the exam. In the second round, NUHCM will conduct exams on June 2nd in 12 provinces/cities: Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, and An Giang.

This year, more than 100 universities and colleges are expected to register to use the exam results to admit a portion of their quota. Specifically, NUHCM alone reserves a minimum of 45% of its total admissions quota for admission through the competency assessment exam.

Prior to this, on April 7th, over 93,800 candidates participated in the first round of the competency assessment exam at NUHCM (achieving 98.2% of the total registered candidates). After a week, this is the moment when candidates are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the exam results.

In 2023, the analysis of 88,052 exam papers from the first round of the competency assessment exam at NUHCM showed that the average score of candidates was 639.2 points. It's worth noting that in this exam, 152 candidates scored over 1,000 points, with the highest score being 1,091 and the lowest score being 238.
