Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) has received a notification from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia (UGM) regarding the UGM-AUN Summer Camp program 2024, under the AUN Summer Program.
- Program Information:
The program, themed "Eco-Leadership for the Young Generation," offers students the opportunity to learn about and experience real-world knowledge in the fields of ecology and sustainable development. The program aims to enhance students' awareness of ecosystem protection and the environment through teaching activities, presentations, discussions, excursions, community service, etc.

- Dates and Location: From July 10 to July 24, 2024, including:
- July 10-14, 2024: Online.
- July 15-25, 2024: In Yogyakarta City, Indonesia.
- Expenses:
- The organizers will cover accommodation, cultural activities, meals, domestic transportation within the program, and the issuance of completion certificates.
- The university will support airfare and insurance for participating students as follows:
- Airfare: minimum 5,000,000 VND per student.
- Insurance: 500,000 VND per student.
- Students attending the program are responsible for other living expenses outside the program.

Quota: 01-02 students representing VNU-HCM.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Enrolled undergraduate students at member units and affiliates of VNU-HCM.
- Preferably with good academic achievements and English proficiency.
- Demonstrated leadership potential, teamwork skills, and good communication.
- Preferably with experience in extracurricular activities and cultural exchanges, especially those related to ASEAN.
- Students must commit to full participation in the program.
- Application Documents:
- Student information form (attached template).
- Latest Vietnamese transcript certified by the training unit.
- Language proficiency certification.
- Leadership experience, extracurricular activities, and cultural exchange documentation.
- Academic achievement documentation (if any).
- Application Procedure:
- Students submit applications (scanned copies) to the Student Affairs Office via email ctsv@uit.edu.vn with the Subject: [AUN-Indonesia Summer Camp 2024] [Student ID] [Full Name] before 8:00 AM on April 08, 2024.
- The Student Affairs Office will review 01 application and notify the student of the results.
- Selected students must submit hard copies of documents to the Student Affairs Office by 8:00 AM on April 10, 2024.
- The university will send a recommendation letter to VNU-HCM for approval.
- After receiving the official results from VNU-HCM, students will be notified to participate in the program.
