GENIE - NEW POTENTIAL FOR SIMULATING THE REAL WORLD
Following the birth of the Gemini model, Google has introduced Genie, an AI tool with the ability to make every drawing or image more vivid in the world of video games. It is known that Genie has undergone about 200 thousand hours of training with most of the 2D platforms in the world to be able to use commands in text or image form and build a virtual environment through gesture analysis. Although Genie is still in the testing phase and the image quality is not as high as the Sora model from OpenGPT, this still promises to be a new turning point in the development of the virtual world and platforms with high interactivity.
WINDOWS ENDS SUPPORT FOR WINDOWS SUBSYSTEM FOR ANDROID
Recently, in an announcement to developers, Microsoft announced that the Windows Subsystem for Android platform - one of the features that allows users to use Android apps on their computers, will officially be discontinued on March 5, 2025. It is known that in the announcement, Microsoft declared: "We will stop supporting WSA in 2025. This means that all apps on the Amazon Appstore, as well as apps using WSA, will no longer be available. Users will not be able to download new Android apps on any platform from March 5, 2024." However, "users who have installed Android apps before the above time will still receive updates until WSA stops operating," quoted from the announcement. This surprising move by Microsoft also applies to Android developers on the Windows platform.
