Net Challenge 2023, organized by Faculty of Computer Networks and Communications, continues to provide an exciting and engaging platform for UIT students passionate about researching network management and problem-solving.
At Net Challenge 2023, students can access both virtual and real network devices, network services, enhance their computer networking skills, configure devices, and troubleshoot network issues. This not only improves teamwork and strategic thinking skills but also offers an opportunity to enrich knowledge and gain experience applicable to future careers.
By participating in this premier academic event on Networks at UIT, students will receive certificates upon completing at least 50% of the Round 1 content, meeting the "Good Study" criteria – one of the five criteria for the "Excellent Student" title awarded by the Vietnam Student Association.

Eligibility: Students of VNUHCM-University of Information Technology (UIT) who have not won prizes in the previous Net Challenge 2023 competitions.
Venue: University of Information Technology
Team Size: 3 members per team.
Moreover, lunch will be provided to all participants in all rounds!
The competition consists of the following rounds:
Round 1: From 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, on October 28, 2023.
Round 2: From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on October 28, 2023.
Final Round: From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on November 4, 2023.
Details of Each Round:
Round 1: Each team member will complete a 60-question multiple-choice test within 60 minutes.
Round 2: 03 team members will configure and troubleshoot network issues provided by the organizers on the virtual Lab system (VnetLab).
The top 4 teams with the HIGHEST scores in Rounds 1 & 2 will qualify for the Final Round!
Final Round: Teams will configure and troubleshoot network issues on the physical network system provided by the organizers using real devices.
Prizes:
1st Prize: 4,000,000 VND + Gold Medal
2nd Prize: 3,000,000 VND + Silver Medal
2x 3rd Prizes: 2,000,000 VND + Bronze Medal
2 Individual Prizes for OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE in Round 1: 500,000 VND
