On the afternoon of November 23, VNUHCM held a conference to review the 3-year implementation of the VNU 100 Project Phase 2021-2025 at the headquarters of VNUCHM. The conference was attended by more than 30 delegates from the steering committee, working groups, and project monitoring teams.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Tam - Vice Chancellor of VNUHCM, the VNU 100 Project holds significant importance for the university. It is one of the initiatives to enhance the position of VNUHCM in various rankings. The project aims to concretize the directives of the Party Committee of VNUHCM and the strategic plan of the university for the 2021-2025 period.
The Vice Chancellor stated that the VNU 100 Project has three key objectives: enhancing the image and position of VNUHCM through marketing and promotion on domestic and international media; improving rankings in academic reputation and recognition by employers; and enhancing the efficiency of university ranking management throughout the entire system.
During the conference, delegates listened to three specialized reports, including: the 3-year review report of the VNU 100 Project Phase 2021-2025 (presented by Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh - Chancellor of the Testing and Quality Assessment Center of VNUHCM); the role of media in promoting the brand of VNUHCM (presented by Mr. Tran Tuan Phuong - Director of the Information and Communication Department of VNUHCM); some results of the collaboration between the university, businesses, and students from the VNU 100 Project Phase 2021-2025 (presented by Dr. Luu Trung Thuy - Dean of the Student Affairs Department of VNUHCM).
The full name of the VNU 100 Project Phase 2021-2025 is "Enhancing the Position and International Integration Capability of VNUHCM through University Ranking Activities, Phase 2021-2025." This project is a continuation of the VNU 100 Project Phase 2017-2022.
