Pony Chung Scholarship, awarded by the Pony Chung Foundation of the Hyundai Group, South Korea, is an annual scholarship given to students from member institutions of VNUHCM. In 2023, the Pony Chung Scholarship Foundation continued to implement the Pony Chung Scholarship 2023 Program with 35 scholarships, worth 600 USD each, for undergraduate and graduate students studying at member institutions of VNUHCM.
After reviewing the scholarship applications, graduate student Vu Tuan Hai, who has many scientific research papers at prestigious international scientific conferences, and three students Nguyen Huynh Minh Triet (Computer Science), Nguyen Trong Ninh (Software Technology), and Nguyen Thanh Trung (Information Science & Technology) have excellently surpassed many application profiles and were chosen by the Pony Chung Scholarship Foundation to be awarded scholarships1.
Speaking about the honor of being awarded the Pony Chung Scholarship, a representative of UIT students shared: "First of all, I would like to thank the teachers who have always accompanied me during the application process. When I received the results, I was very happy, and it is hard to express in words. The Pony Chung Scholarship is not only financial aid, but also an affirmation of the efforts during the study time at UIT. It adds motivation to help me be more confident on the path of study and my scientific research goals”
