I. CONTENT
1.1 Scholarship
Full scholarship for one academic year at the university, awarded annually.
1.2 Eligibility
New students and current students at the university.
II. SELECTION CRITERIA
2.1 Gold Scholarship (30,000,000 VND/year)
Two scholarships for the top scorer in the National High School Graduation Exam and the top scorer in the High School Graduation Exam in 2023.
2.2 Platinum Scholarship (50,000,000 VND/year)
Minimum criteria:
+ Cumulative GPA: from 9.0/10
+ Cumulative conduct score: from 90/100
Priority criteria: As the scholarship fund will review the profiles of students from 22 participating universities nationwide, the selection criteria for this scholarship are very high. To meet the scholarship criteria, in addition to the minimum requirements mentioned above, students need to achieve at least one of the following criteria to be introduced by the university for the scholarship:
+ Have an equivalent language proficiency certificate with IELTS 6.5 or above.
+ Have at least one scientific paper/research project that has been approved.
+ Have received at least one commendation or award from the university or higher authorities.
2.3 Diamond Scholarship (100,000,000 VND/year)
+ The top 3 outstanding students selected from the 22 universities will be awarded the Diamond Scholarship.
III. APPLICATION
3.1 Scholarship Application and Document Submission
Students must register in advance through the form at: https://forms.gle/HVkiRfuBEHNCehcz5
Prepare the required paper documents and submit them to the Student Affairs Department at A101 (contact Ms. Nhan).
Deadline for registration and document submission: November 20, 2023
3.2 Scholarship Application Documents
- Personal essay – personal statement: Students are required to introduce themselves (student ID, email, phone number, etc.), describe their academic journey, state the reasons for applying for the scholarship, and outline their future plans (maximum 1000 words). The essay can be handwritten or typed.
- Student’s resume, family policy certification (if applicable), revolutionary contributions certification (if applicable) with confirmation from the local authorities of residence. A printed copy of the student's resume at the time of enrollment can be used.
- Officially verified academic transcript. Registration on the Undergraduate Studies Department's website.
- Language proficiency certificate: minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (if available, certified copy).
- Certificates of commendation and awards from relevant authorities (if available, certified copy).
- Certificates of participation in extracurricular activities, social work (if available, certified copy).
- Abstract of research published in specialized scientific journals (if available, certified copy).
Result announcement date: Expected on December 10, 2023
Scholarship award ceremony: Expected on December 23, 2023
