Seminar on Research Direction and Thesis Guidance for Faculty of Computer Networks and Communications

To assist students from the Faculty of Networks and Communications in understanding the process and determining specific research directions for their Specialized Projects and Graduation Theses (SP/GT), an online seminar was organized on the evening of January 19, 2024. The event attracted nearly 300 students from the "Computer Networks and Data Communications" and "Information Security" majors within the Faculty of Networks and Communications.

In the opening segment of the program, the procedures for conducting SP/GT were shared with students from both majors by Ms. Tran Thi Dung - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Networks and Communications.

Mr. Van Thien Luan also introduced the SP/GT management systems of the department through the mmt.uitiot.vn website. Additionally, Mr. Luan presented the LaTeX language-based report writing support system (latex.uitiot.vn) to facilitate convenient drafting of reports for student groups. This system allows quick monitoring and editing by instructors.

In the second part of the program, information and research directions of various research groups within the department were introduced to attending students by faculty members:
