At Hall A, University of Information Technology (UIT), the space was filled with the emotional melodies of the special concert program “Harmony of Colors” – Symphony of Youth. This event became even more special with the appearance of Conductor Trần Nhật Minh, one of the most prominent figures in Vietnam’s classical music scene.
Born in 1981, Trần Nhật Minh is a distinguished musical talent who graduated with a Master's degree in Choral Conducting from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow in 2007. With a passion for conducting orchestras, he continued his advanced studies at the National Orchestra Conducting Academy in Italy in 2012.
Trần Nhật Minh's musical journey is marked by prestigious awards:
- 2nd Prize at the International Young Conductor Competition in Vladivostok (2004)
- Encouragement Prize at the IV All-Russia Professional Choral Conducting Competition (2006)
- “Outstanding Conductor” award at the National Professional Music and Dance Festival (2009)
Not only is Trần Nhật Minh an exceptional Conductor at the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra (HBSO), but he is also the founder of the Saigon Pops Orchestra (SPO), a platform connecting young musical talents and bringing symphonic music closer to the public.
This event at UIT is not just a concert, but also an opportunity for students to experience the fusion of classical music and technology, representing the spirit of convergence between art and science.
