UIT GO Global | FROM COMPUTER ENGINEERING STUDENT TO CANDAR 2023 OUTSTANDING PAPER AWARD WINNER AND PH.D. JOURNEY IN JAPAN
Lê Vũ Trùng Dương, a former student of the Computer Engineering program, class of 2015, upon graduation, immediately received a full scholarship for a Master's degree in Japan. Thanks to his remarkable academic achievements and research papers, he was awarded a full scholarship to pursue a Ph.D. program (currently in his second year) at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) - Information Science Division.
This former Computer Engineering student received the NAIST full scholarship for research and improvement in hardware configurations for high-performance Cryptography algorithms used in IoT, Information Security, and Blockchain Mining.
With his strengths evident throughout his academic journey and research, Trùng Dương has authored 22 scientific research papers (133 citations - h-index 7, i10-index 3) and received the CANDAR 2023 Outstanding Paper Award.
Dương plans to continue his research after completing his Ph.D. program. Specifically, he aims to work at research institutes in Japan to gain more experience and expand his knowledge in the field of information technology.
