On the morning of January 19, 2024, the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City organized a ceremony to present "Youth Journey" tickets for the Spring Festival of the Year of the Wood Rat 2024 to 50 students to travel back to their hometowns and celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024.
The program aims to support students facing difficulties in returning home for Tet, allowing them to reunite with their families. The 50 bus tickets were sponsored by Bosch Vietnam Limited Liability Company.
Attending the ticket presentation ceremony on behalf of Bosch Global Software Technologies were Mr. Duong Hoang Phuc - Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Le Thuy Vy - Communications Department, Ms. Tran Nhu Phung - Enterprise Branding Department, Mr. Phan Thanh Hoang - Head of Social Affairs Department.
Representing the university's leadership were Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Tan Tran Minh Khang - Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Doan Duy - Deputy Dean of the Department, Faculty of Computer Science; Master Nguyen Van Toan - Head of Office of Student Affairs; Master Nguyen Thanh Hiep - Secretary of the University Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Duy Tan - Deputy Chairman of the University Student Union, along with other members of the university executive board, union secretariat members, and university office staff.
The "Youth Journey" is part of a series of activities aimed at caring for the well-being of the university's youth, union members, and students, with the desire to share and support those facing difficult circumstances or those unable to return home for Tet with their families. During the ticket presentation ceremony, Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Tan Tran Minh Khang shared with the students, "I always hope that you find happiness, even in simplicity."
In addition to the bus tickets, students also received small gifts from the program along with heartfelt wishes for happiness during the "Tet comes, Spring returns" season. The program conveys a message of spreading kindness and building a joyful and harmonious Tet season.
