at The 2025 ICPC Asia Bangkok Regional Contest

 

The 2025 ICPC Asia Pacific season officially kicked off with its first stop — The 2025 ICPC Asia Bangkok Regional Contest, held on the morning of November 2, 2025, at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.

Right in this opening round, the team VNUHCM.UIT.JobSeekers from the University of Information Technology, VNU-HCMC (UIT) excelled in performance, finishing in the Top 9 across the entire region and proudly bringing home a bronze medal.

The UIT.JobSeekers team consists of three outstanding students from UIT:

• Lê Thiên Quân – Talented Program, Class of 2024, Faculty of Computer Science

• Đinh Mạnh Hùng – Talented Program, Class of 2024, Faculty of Computer Science

• Trần Vinh Khánh – Talented Program, Class of 2023, Faculty of Computer Science

The 2025 ICPC Asia Bangkok Regional marks the beginning of the international journey toward the prestigious ICPC Asia Pacific Championship 2026 and ICPC World Finals 2026, gathering the most talented programming teams from universities across the Asia-Pacific region. This year’s contest featured nine Vietnamese teams representing the country’s top universities.

The bronze medal achievement by the UIT.JobSeekers team is a clear testament to the quality of education, the spirit of learning, and the ambition to reach new heights among UIT students. It once again reaffirms the position and capability of UIT’s young tech talents on the international ICPC stage.
