UIT Talk 2023 | ChatGPT Explores the Potential and Limitations in Learning, Research, and Entrepreneurship

On the morning of October 5, 2023, UIT Talk 2023 featured the keynote speaker, Prof. Dr. Do Phuc, from the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University. Prof. Dr. Do Phuc is a seasoned expert in the field of Chatbots with over 25 years of experience, and the event saw the participation of more than 120 students.

With cutting-edge scientific knowledge, artificial intelligence platforms are increasingly impacting various facets of human life. During the seminar, students had the opportunity to listen and gain a comprehensive understanding of the current state of development of artificial intelligence platforms, with a particular focus on ChatGPT. They also explored how these platforms are influencing two specific domains: education and technology.

Launched in late November 2022, ChatGPT has quickly risen to become the most discussed artificial intelligence platform of today, amassing 10 million users in just 40 days. This platform is designed not only to provide natural, human-like conversation but also to learn from user feedback. Over time, it has evolved with substantial updates and enhancements.

The central theme of the UIT TALK event revolved around various topics, including the exploration of ChatGPT's potential in learning, research, and entrepreneurship. Discussions encompassed artificial intelligence, Chatbots, Chat GPT, the underlying technologies in ChatGPT, and the wide-ranging applications of Chat GPT in supporting learning, research, emotional analysis, entrepreneurship, as well as the argumentative capabilities of ChatGPT and the development of text generated by ChatGPT. This provided a succinct overview of ChatGPT's integration with Python.
