On the morning of March 28, 2024, the program "Meeting Young Party Members" and the Young Communist Union Day 2024 officially took place at the Management Hall of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City. The event was attended by leaders of the Party Committee's office, the Party Committee Inspection Committee, the Party Building Committees of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, and the Deans of member universities. Representing the leadership of the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University, was Associate Professor Nguyen Hoang Tu Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University.

The Young Communist Union Day 2024 at Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City aims to disseminate and educate the glorious history of the Communist Party of Vietnam, helping students deeply understand the role of youth in inheriting revolutionary traditions and building socialism. Additionally, it summarizes the journey of striving and training of outstanding Party members and Union members of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City. The event is a creative activity of the youth at Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, featuring many significant and meaningful activities.
During this event, the Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to admit 9 outstanding groups as new Party members. The University of Information Technology had the honor of having 2 outstanding groups: Duong Pham Huy Thong and Nguyen Phan Duc Anh, who were admitted as outstanding Union members of the Faculty of Computer Network and Communications. Additionally, the Party Committee and University Management Board, represented by Associate Professor Nguyen Hoang Tu Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector, delivered speeches outlining the duties and responsibilities of Party members, officially assigning Party members to mentor, nurture, and assist new Party members in their continuous striving and training to fulfill their duties as Party members assigned by the Party Cell, worthy of being members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

At the event, the Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City Union Affairs Board also introduced an exhibition space titled "The iron-willed belief of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City youth in the Party." The space included 3 areas: Introduction of activities of student Party cells, political activities at units over the past year, models and typical solutions of Youth Union units in implementing the "Young Communists" movement, and exemplary young Party members in implementing the movement "Every young Party member, one good deed" in 2023.
Continuing the series of activities at the event, the Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee organized a program "Meeting Young Party Members, Union Members of Ho Chi Minh City National University" aimed at raising awareness of the position, role, and pioneering role of young Party members in building Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City. This was also an opportunity for the Party Committee to understand the thoughts, feelings, aspirations, and suggestions of young Party members, aiming to propose directions and solutions for the development of the Party at Ho Chi Minh City National University.
Also at the event, the Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City Union Affairs Board, in collaboration with the Party Committee's Propaganda Board, organized a program for Young Communists, with the theme "United under the red flag," to commend 08 exemplary models and solutions in implementing the "Young Communists" movement from 2019 to 2024, and 19 exemplary young Party members in implementing the movement "Every young Party member, one good deed" in 2023. The University of Information Technology continued to have the honor of having 02 young Party members achieve outstanding results in implementing the movement "Every young Party member, one good deed" in 2023.

The "Young Communists" movement and the "Every young Party member, one good deed" movement of Ho Chi Minh City National University have demonstrated vitality and spread widely, with diverse and rich forms. The team of outstanding young Party members and Union members is increasingly being nurtured and improved in terms of political awareness and moral qualities, affirming their capacity, professional competence, and active contribution to the construction of the Party and government.
In addition, the Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City Union Affairs Board organized a seminar "Forever illuminate the revolutionary ideals of youth," where union members and young people had the opportunity to listen, exchange, and share their training journey, striving, and aspirations.
Through practical and meaningful activities, the event has contributed to propagating and educating Union members and young people to live with communist ideals, have faith and steadfastly pursue the goal of national independence associated with socialism, uphold the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party, the nation, and the previous generations.
