The international partnership program between Birmingham City University and UIT has been implemented since 2019 with two majors: Computer Science and Network & Information Security.
To apply for admission, candidates need to graduate from high school and have an IELTS certificate with a score of at least 5.5 (or equivalent certificates recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training). In case they do not have an international certificate, candidates need to take the English proficiency test at UIT or attend English training classes organized by the university.
Students who complete the program will receive a degree from Birmingham City University, which is internationally recognized. Additionally, students will enjoy many benefits such as transportation from the city center to UIT's campus in the urban area of VNUHCM and vice versa, academic support and counseling throughout the program, internship and job placement assistance in relevant fields, etc.
The total tuition fee for the entire course (3.5 years) of the program is 310,000,000 VND (if studying in Vietnam), significantly lower than the cost of studying abroad in the UK. Students can study entirely in Vietnam or flexibly transfer to the UK to prepare for their career or pursue a Master's degree.
