"Nine years for one Dien Bien, hence the red flowers, hence the golden history."
The famous verses by poet To Huu have penetrated the hearts of many generations, inspiring millions of hearts towards the glorious victory of "Dien Bien Phu, resonating across five continents, shaking the globe." Seventy years ago, on May 7, 1954, the Vietnamese army and people achieved the remarkable feat of breaking the stronghold of Dien Bien Phu - the "impregnable fortress," the pride of the French colonial army in Indochina.
We all know about Dien Bien Phu as the pride of a resplendent victory for the entire nation.
But what contributed to that "Glorious victory resonating across five continents, shaking the globe"? We invite all party members, and the youth of the city, to explore and deepen our love for the historical values of our nation's struggle for independence.
