Conference on Studying and Implementing Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly

On March 30, 2024, the Student Union of the University of Information Technology organized a conference to study and implement Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly on piloting certain mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City. The conference took place directly at Hall E, University of Information Technology.

Participants in the conference included: Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hiep - Secretary of the Student Union; Comrade Nguyen Nhat Bang - Deputy Secretary of the Student Union; MSc. Nguyen Minh Hai - Head of the Press and Publications Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - Speaker at the conference; and over 100 union officials and members of the University of Information Technology participating in the study session.

During the conference, MSc. Nguyen Minh Hai shared the new points of Resolution 98, highlighting the strong breakthroughs in institutional mechanisms within the resolution. He emphasized the 2 principles, 4 approaches, and 7 main policy groups in Resolution 98. Accordingly, Resolution 98 introduces many new contents and challenges, while also presenting new opportunities. It can be said that Resolution 98 aims to concretize the political tasks and national missions that the Central Party and the National Assembly have set for Ho Chi Minh City, legally transitioning and positively continuing in the direction of urban governance, which is a bright spot in the institutional framework of our country's urban administration. In practice, it meets the practical needs currently posed in Ho Chi Minh City.
