This was one of the insights shared by Associate Professor Dr. Tran Minh Triet, Vice Rector of the University of Natural Sciences, VNU-HCM, during a specialized presentation on the "Application of ChatGPT in supporting office work and management tasks at VNU-HCM agencies," organized by VNU-HCM on the afternoon of February 23.
The presentation was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Vu Hai Quan, Director of VNU-HCM, and over 150 officials and specialists from VNU-HCM agencies.
During the presentation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Triet provided an overview of GPT and ChatGPT, focusing on sharing potential applications and how to use ChatGPT to support work.
According to Dr. Triet, the six prominent features and capabilities of ChatGPT include natural language processing, content rewriting, text generation, content summarization, question answering, and content creation.
He emphasized that the nature of ChatGPT is not to provide information but to generate content. Therefore, users need to be cautious and selective when dealing with the information provided by ChatGPT.
Dr. Triet also highlighted that ChatGPT performs well in tasks such as idea generation, creating presentation slides, or summarizing content. "If we use ChatGPT in a controlled and guided manner, it can be an effective support tool for our work," emphasized Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Triet.
