Expert Seminar on 'University Sharing': 'The model is built to share resources about people, infrastructure, and learning materials.

On the morning of December 26, the Expert Seminar on the 'University Sharing' project officially took place at room E1.1, University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM.

Attending the seminar, the university leadership included Assoc. Prof. Vu Duc Lung - Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the Council; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Luu Thuy Ngan - Vice President. Additionally, the seminar also saw the participation of Dr. Pham Tan Ha - Vice President of University of Social Sciences and Humanities; Dr. Pham Nguyen Thanh Van - Vice President of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine; Dr. Ta Quang Trung - Dean of Culture and Tourism, University of Saigon; Assoc. Prof. Pham Tran Vu - Dean of Computer Science, University of Technology; Dr. Lam Quang Vu - Vice Dean of Information Technology, University of Natural Sciences, and teachers from various universities, along with experts in the fields of learning resource management, human resource management, and facility management.

Speaking at the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Vu Duc Lung shared: 'Sharing resources is a common trend and brings benefits to all parties involved. The model is built on information technology to share the main resources including: people, infrastructure, and learning materials.'

The 'University Sharing' project seminar consisted of four specialized reports:

Detailed proposals for sharing learning materials and implementation plans. Detailed proposals for sharing facilities and implementation plans. Detailed proposals for sharing human resources and implementation plans. Proposals for ensuring the deployment of the University Sharing model; Information Technology infrastructure including hardware, network, and software.

One of the important presentations of the seminar was by Dr. Lam Quang Vu, who shared new insights into the Learning Management System (LMS) and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). The doctor also made proposals regarding budget investment for the deployment of information technology infrastructure, software copyright, the development of deployment and acceptance regulations for shared systems, the establishment of a common user identification system for all universities, and faculty training programs to develop, build, deploy, and operate courses.

After listening to the presentations, the delegates proceeded to discuss issues surrounding the 'University Sharing' project. It is known that the 'University Sharing' project is one of the sub-projects under the comprehensive 'International Standard Human Resource Training Project' implemented under the direction of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
