Gala Proud Youth of UIT 2023: Number of Individuals Honored and Rewarded Outstandingly

On the afternoon of January 4, at Hall E, the program Gala Proud Youth of UIT officially took place. The program, organized by the Executive Committee of the Youth Union - Student Union of the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, aimed to commend individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in the academic year 2022-2023, according to each title, promoting and expanding typical exemplary models.

Specifically, the commendation categories include "Outstanding Young Officers, Officials, and Lecturers", "Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Words", "5-Good Student". Besides, the program also took place in a joyful atmosphere to welcome the new year 2024 and commemorate the 74th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students (January 9, 1950 - January 09, 2024).

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep hopes that students can reach higher levels of commendation in the coming academic year.

Attending the program, representatives from the Executive Committee of Thanh Doan - Student Union of Ho Chi Minh City included Mr. Le Phu Lam - Member of the Executive Committee, Head of the Office of Thanh Doan; Mr. Le Thanh Binh - Member of the Executive Committee, Head of the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Union. From the National University Union Committee, Mr. Truong Van An - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Union Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University attended. From the University of Information Technology, Dr. Nguyen Tan Tran Minh Khang - Party Committee member, Vice Rector, and leaders of faculties and departments, along with over 130 outstanding officials and delegates were present.

The number of individuals honored and rewarded significantly exceeds previous years.

Sharing at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep said: "When reviewing the profiles for the categories of Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Words and 5-Good Students, we see that students of the University of Information Technology have many outstanding characteristics, many scientific articles, volunteer achievements, and other activities... It can be said that the number of those honored this year has significantly exceeded previous years, showing the effort and dedication of our students." Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep hopes that in the coming academic year, students can develop comprehensively and achieve higher levels of commendation, such as at the university, city, and central levels.
