This morning (9.1), Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Testing and Training Quality Assessment Center (National University Ho Chi Minh City), stated that the illustrative test for the 2024 competency assessment exam is maintained similarly to 2023.
The illustrative test consists of 16 pages, with 120 questions, and the allotted time for completion is 150 minutes. The exam is in multiple-choice format with 4 options, where only one option is correct.

Earlier, the National University Ho Chi Minh City had announced the schedule for two rounds of competency assessment exams this year. The first round is on April 7, and the second round is on June 2. Registration for the first round begins on January 22 and lasts until March 4.
In 2024, the competency assessment exam of the National University Ho Chi Minh City continues to be held at 21 examination locations in provinces/cities, including: Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, An Giang, Kien Giang, Can Tho, and Bac Lieu. Additionally, this year, the National University Ho Chi Minh City adds 2 new examination centers in Binh Phuoc and Tay Ninh provinces.
