About the Speaker, Prof. Toru Ishida:
- Honorary Professor of Kyoto University and IEEE Fellow.
- Prof. Ishida served as the President of IEICE from 2021 to 2022 and was a member of the Science Council of Japan from 2011 to 2017.
- He has been working in the field of Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems since 1988.
- Prof. Ishida has led several research projects, such as "Digital City Kyoto and the Language Grid."
- He has been a visiting professor at various prestigious universities including the Technical University of Munich, Paris 6, University of Maryland, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and was awarded the Distinguished Professor of Science at HKBU in 2014.
