On November 17, 2023, the University of Information Technology held a ceremony to honor individuals who received the commemorative medal "For the Cause of Education," awarded by the Ministry of Education and Training. The medal serves as a recognition of the dedicated contributions made by individuals to the country's education sector. To be eligible for the "For the Cause of Education" commemorative medal, individuals must have served in the education sector for at least 20 years and successfully fulfilled their assigned duties.
