On the afternoon of December 12, at the Tran Chi Dao Hall, the VNUHCM Development Fund organized a ceremony to award scholarships to 200 VNUHCM students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies, marking the fourth time in the academic year 2022-2023.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Tam - Vice Director of VNUHCM and Mr. Dennis Ng Teck Yow - CEO of Novaland Group, awarded scholarships to students of the University of Technology.
Each student received 5 million VND/award. This scholarship program is sponsored by the NovaLand Group to support students facing financial difficulties who have achieved good academic performance.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Tam - Vice Director of VNUHCM, stated that the partnership of the NovaLand Group with VNUHCM in general, and the scholarship sponsored by NovaLand in particular, has made a positive contribution to the educational cause of VNUHCM.
"This scholarship is a source of encouragement that VNUHCM and the NovaLand Group dedicate to students who always strive and exert efforts on the path to acquiring knowledge. Please use this scholarship effectively, always try your best in your studies to become useful citizens for society," reminded Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Tam.
Student Vo Hong Phuong Quyen - from the University of Technology, representing the 200 scholarship recipients, expressed gratitude to VNUHCM and the NovaLand Group.
Phuong Quyen shared, "This scholarship not only partially supports us financially but also serves as motivation to help us focus more on studying, conducting scientific research, and applying knowledge to develop our future."
From 2018 to the present, the NovaLand Group has sponsored VNUHCM with over 11 billion VND, of which the scholarship funding is 6 billion VND.
