[RECAP] - BCU DELEGATION'S VISIT AT UIT.

As part of the business trip to Vietnam, this morning, on December 19, 2023, Prof. Gerald Feldman and Prof. Samer Bamansoor - Representatives from University of Birmingham City (BCU), United Kingdom, visited the University of Information Technology (UIT).

The delegation toured the study areas, self-study and research spaces, and student activity areas. Concurrently, during this visit, there were also friendly talks and meetings between BCU representatives and students, as well as teachers taking part in the collaborative programs (*).

This visit not only opens up development opportunities for future collaborative programs but also serves as an occasion to broaden perspectives, engage in cultural exchange, and build the foundation for a long-term relationship between BCU and UIT. We hope that there will be many opportunities for cooperation in undergraduate and postgraduate programs and future exchanges.

(*) The Collaborative Program between BCU and UIT officially admitted students starting in 2019 with 02 majors: Computer Science and Computer Networks & Information Security. The program lasts for 3.5 years. Students can choose to study entirely in Vietnam or transfer to Phase 2 in the United Kingdom, where students will be awarded a bachelor's degree by BCU. By 2023, students from this collaborative program have already graduated. The graduation ceremony will take place on December 20, 2023.
