On January 8th, the launch ceremony of the UIT Spring Volunteer 2024 campaign took place at University of Information Technology (UIT), marking the beginning of the "golden sunshine" months to embellish the Wood Tiger spring for UIT students.

In the following days, the yellow color of the Spring Volunteer uniform brightened every path UIT students stepped on. From the UIT campus to shelters, classrooms, and street corners in Ho Chi Minh City, to even more distant locations, everyone could feel the dynamic, youthful spirit, and sincerity that UIT students brought.

In the first week, the teams "Spring's Essence," "Spring of Technology," "Communication Spring," and "For the Younger Siblings" sequentially organized preliminary activities for a vibrant Spring Volunteer season. While the "For the Younger Siblings" team brought the "i-sheet" to classrooms and shelters in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, the "Spring's Essence" team introduced a series of activities such as selling lucky money envelopes and tickets for the "Spring Note" Acoustic show. Simultaneously, the "Spring of Technology" team quickly intensified preparations for the promising Technology Day, and the "Communication Spring" team eagerly engaged in various projects that attracted the attention of UIT students.

Entering the second week, a series of New Year activities and the spread of the spring atmosphere to every home continued to echo loudly with the UIT Spring Volunteers "firecrackers." After a week of preparation, the "Spring's Essence" team introduced the "Zero-Dong Booth," continuing to organize many fundraising activities and gift-giving events, bringing spring to Tan Quoi commune (Thanh Binh, Dong Thap). The Technology Day featured a variety of technology products made from recycled materials, adding color to a joyful spring while also urging people to pay attention to and appreciate recycled materials to help make the environment greener.

The Communication Spring team with activities bringing the spring atmosphere using the five senses, accurately portraying the joyful and humorous swallows during the Wood Tiger spring, also stirred the emotions of UIT students with unexpected high-quality and profound podcasts.
It would be remiss not to mention the rich traditional program "Old Computers, New Knowledge." The journey of recycling, utilizing, and repairing old computers from businesses, organizations, and individuals has been ongoing for 15 years in Ho Chi Minh City, continually supported by the passionate UIT student team each academic year. To date, the program has donated 500 computers to units, organizations, and individuals on each return of spring, contributing to the mission of spreading and enhancing technology knowledge for people in over 10 provinces (Tien Giang, Binh Thuan, Ben Tre, Binh Phuoc, etc.).

Finally, bringing color everywhere, UIT students did not forget their dynamic, youthful school. The "UIT Spring Corner" was officially inaugurated and put into operation on January 23, becoming a place where the smiles of lecturers, staff, and students bloomed during the spring.

As the two golden swallows, Dương Hân and Duy Anh, affirmed: "We will dedicate ourselves to a brilliantly successful Spring Volunteer season," the journey of UIT students still shines brightly and promises to add many more vibrant colors to the upcoming Wood Tiger spring.
When Spring brings the breath of life to all things, the spirit of sharing, dynamism, and wholehearted dedication of young people is elevated. UIT students immerse themselves in the youthful atmosphere of the new year, participating in activities that contribute to the community in a more positive, friendly, and happy manner. The youthful energy in serving society is the strength of sharing, and UIT students have unleashed their youthfulness to the community, to each citizen, friend, and sibling on every street, eagerly anticipating the most radiant spring season.
