The Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2023 (VIIE 2023), a major innovation event of the year in Vietnam, has officially commenced.
VIIE 2023 is an international-scale event serving as a platform for connection, exchange, and expanding cooperation and research opportunities for domestic enterprises. With the aim of creating a space for sharing top innovative ideas and products, the exhibition fosters interaction and connections between businesses and the community. It also serves to inspire and explore innovative capabilities, opening unique cooperation opportunities.
Within the exhibition, the exhibition booth of VNUHCM, including UIT, was honored to welcome Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, along with other government officials and leaders, who visited the booth. VNUHCM showcased and introduced outstanding research and application products at the exhibition. The displayed products from VNUHCM cover various fields, including microelectronics, semiconductors, information technology, research and application of artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation in education, smart cities and smart factories, health science, medical technology, OCOP products, and community service.
UIT received significant attention and high praise for its ongoing research and technology transfer activities over the past years. Some of the notable projects and innovations introduced by UIT at VIIE 2023 include:
UIT Video Search System: A multi-modal interactive video content search solution.
vLab: Virtual lab practical system.
Information Security Training System: Simulation system for information security training.
Ground Communication Equipment: Support equipment for satellite communication and proposed System-in-Package (SiP) microchip structure.
Chat2Edit: AI tool for image editing through natural language communication.
ID Card Reader: System for extracting personal information from identity documents through images.
GURU Reader: System for digitizing text information from images.
The VIIE 2023 exhibition will run until November 1, bringing together nearly 300 leading domestic and international technology enterprises and hosting tens of thousands of participants.
