Dr. Nguyen Minh Son shares about semiconductor training at UIT
During the meeting, UIT representatives presented the challenges faced by the Computer Engineering Department when opening the Semiconductor Design field, such as the budget for using licenses and the development of training programs. To address these issues, the department collaborates with various units both domestically and internationally to establish a semiconductor training program.
In the coming time, the department plans to attract talent, invite professors to give lectures from prestigious universities to enhance the quality of teaching. The department also seeks to strengthen collaboration with global organizations such as Thanh Hoa University (Taiwan), Kyushu University (Japan), and the OECD.
The survey and evaluation of the OECD's semiconductor ecosystem will lay the foundation for future cooperation initiatives to develop this important industry.
