On the morning of January 27, University of Information Technology (UIT) participated in the Advisory Day for the 2024 Exam Season, providing high school students with valuable enrollment information and attractive gifts.
The Advisory Day for the 2024 Exam Season was organized by Thanh Nien newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province. The event took place at Dong Nai University with the participation of over 50 universities and colleges offering consultations.
Early in the morning, students from various high schools visited booth number 32 of University of Information Technology. The university's advisory team answered all inquiries regarding majors, study programs, tuition fees, student benefits at UIT, and career opportunities after graduation, helping students stay updated with the most accurate information about the university.
UIT's advisory booth attracted a large number of students
Majors that received significant attention from students included Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks & Communications, Software Engineering, E-commerce, Information Security, Computer Engineering, and the new Microchip Design program. These majors have seen high registration numbers in recent years, standing out due to the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and global digital transformation.
UIT addressed questions about majors for the students
Additionally, the international collaboration program also drew the interest of many students. At UIT, the international collaboration program in partnership with Birmingham City University, United Kingdom (BCU), aims to provide opportunities for students to obtain an international university degree. Students can study the entire 3.5 years in Vietnam or flexibly transfer to the UK for the final year with reasonable tuition fees, only 1/8th of the cost of studying abroad in the UK. These outstanding advantages have attracted many students to inquire and explore.

During the event, UIT Student Ambassadors listened to the aspirations of students, shared their experiences and knowledge to help students make informed decisions about choosing majors, selecting universities, and choosing future careers. In addition, the advisory team also gave cute gifts - "Dau Dau" keychains - hoping that students would choose a major that aligns with their abilities and aspirations.
The Advisory Day for the 2024 Exam Season at Dong Nai University concluded successfully. In the future, the University of Information Technology will organize more advisory programs for the 2024 admissions to support and accompany students in choosing careers that align with their future directions.
