Having surpassed the preliminary round, a team of 5 students from the University of Information Technology (UIT), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) has achieved the best result among the Vietnamese teams. They excellently secured their spots in the list of participants for the final round of the 'BFMC 2024 International Autonomous Vehicle Programming Competition', organized in Rumani. The team consists of Phan Hoài Lâm, Nguyễn Nhã Khanh, Đỗ Minh Khôi, Trịnh Hoàng Minh, and Phan Huỳnh Ngọc Trâm, all members of the CEEC club, Department of Computer Engineering, UIT. This club serves as a hub connecting young enthusiasts, nurturing their passion for the fields of engineering and technology.
Phan Hoài Lâm (team leader) shared: "The enthusiastic support and guidance from our seniors have been a great source of inspiration and motivation for us to participate in this competition. Additionally, the appeal of the competition, with its direct relevance to our field of study and ongoing research, has spurred us to join. The competition opens up a large playground where we can test our skills, apply our knowledge to real-world scenarios, learn from other teams, and contribute to the development of our passion field." After relentless efforts, the team of students has had a promising start in their journey to compete for awards on the international stage, becoming the team with the best performance among Vietnamese teams.
The 'Bosch Future Mobility Challenge 2024' (BFMC) is a global competition on developing solutions for autonomous vehicles organized by Bosch Technical Center in Rumani. Since 2017, the competition has called for participation from hundreds of student teams worldwide, creating a comprehensive playground to support young generations in breakthroughs and innovation to promote the development of smart mobility solutions for the future.
