Information Technology University Students Prioritized for Employment by Businesses

According to a survey conducted by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City with labor-using units in four provinces and cities in the Southeast region, businesses clearly prioritize hiring graduates from specific universities.

Among the notable universities is University of Technology (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) with the highest personnel priority rate in all four provinces and cities in the Southeast region (24.41%).

Following closely are businesses prioritizing the recruitment of personnel from other member units of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, such as the University of Sciences (16.3%), University of Economics and Law (15.53%), University of Social Sciences and Humanities (10.9%), University of Information Technology (10.38%), and International University (7.48%).

"Although University of Economics and Law and University of Information Technology are two relatively young universities compared to historically established institutions like University of Technology, the University of Natural Sciences, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, these two units are prioritized by labor-using units.

This result not only indicates that these younger universities are highly regarded in terms of training quality by labor-using units but also reflects the high demand of businesses for personnel in the fields of business management and information technology in the present."
