Opening Ceremony of Course 5 - Japanese Language Program and Job Introduction Supported by HuReDee

Following the success of previous training courses, after two rounds of selection (through resumes and interviews), the Human Resources Development and Employment Organization (HuReDee) in Japan, in collaboration with the University of Information Technology (UIT), has selected 32 eligible UIT students to participate in the Japanese language class of Course V.

The opening ceremony of this course was solemnly organized online on the morning of December 27, 2023.

This course is part of the collaboration program between the University and HuReDee to provide students with job opportunities in Japanese companies after graduation. Participating in the course, students will be trained in language, learn about Japanese culture and people, and be equipped with knowledge and skills to work in the Japanese business environment.

Attending the opening ceremony were UIT leaders, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Luu Thuy Ngan - Vice Rector, Mr. Tran Ba Nhiem - Deputy Head of the University Training Department, and Mr. Phan Hoang Chuong - Deputy Director in charge of the Language Center. On the partner side, Mr. Fujishima Yasuyuki - Chairman of the HuReDee Association, Mr. Yamaguchi-Kimio - Vice Chairman of the HuReDee Association, Mr. Nguyen Van Hao - Director of the Dong Do Japanese Language Center, along with teachers from specialized departments, and other experts participating in teaching and program management.

At the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Luu Thuy Ngan - Vice Rector of the University of Information Technology, said, "Participating in today's course is a great opportunity for the 32 students of Course V. The door to Japan has opened, so you must strive to achieve success. Your success is an honor for the University. I hope you will be a bridge for the good relationship between the two countries, Vietnam and Japan."

To help students more easily absorb knowledge and enhance their own qualifications, the course will be taught by both Vietnamese and Japanese teachers. During the Japanese language learning process, students will be introduced to, meet, and exchange with Japanese companies about job opportunities.

The free Japanese language course sponsored by HuReDee started in 2019 and has had 123 students enrolled so far. After completing the course, 19 students have been selected to work for companies in Japan.

This course not only opens doors to the world for students but also marks the development and collaboration between UIT and HuReDee, and between Vietnam and Japan.
