Former Information Security student Doan Thien Phuc is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in information technology at Soongsil University, Seoul, South Korea, with a 100% tuition scholarship.

Phuc's impressive achievements during the scholarship pursuit process include publishing 01 Q1 international journal article, presenting 01 A1-ranked international conference paper, winning Best Paper Awards twice at conferences in and outside South Korea, and notably having 03 patents registered in the US. Phuc is one of the five research fellows awarded the Excellent Vietnamese Young Scientist at the VYSK 2023 in South Korea in the field of information technology and communication.
Phuc's future plans include continuing R&D work after completing his Ph.D. He may return to Vietnam and engage in university teaching after completing his doctoral studies.

Adding more about Phuc, he was the Champion of UIT Student Leadership in 2015. During his time at UIT, Phuc also participated in Youth Union activities, volunteering, and scientific research activities.
