With their entry "Multi-method Deep Learning-based Scam Website Detection to Evade User Protection," the W1.Shark team, composed of students from the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, National University, has surpassed nearly 200 teams nationwide to secure the Third Prize with a reward of 50 million VND.
Their application, named Shark-eyes, after being installed on the user's web browser, can autonomously operate, providing real-time protection against fraudulent websites.
Associate Professor Nguyen Tan Tran Minh Khang, Vice Rector of the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, National University, shared that the W1.Shark team consists of two members, Vo Quang Minh and Bui Tan Hai Dang, both majoring in Information Security - Talented Students.
