VNUHCM Opens Registration for Aptitude Evaluation Exam - Session 1 from January 22

The Aptitude Evaluation Exam for the year 2024 will be organized by VNUHCM in two sessions in early April and early June. In the first session, candidates will have over a month to register for the exam, from January 22 to March 4.

Candidates can register for the exam online at the website: https://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn/. Information about sample exams, registration instructions, and payment methods will be provided at http://cete.vnuhcm.edu.vn/thi-danh-gia-nang-luc.html.

Session 1 will be held on April 7 in 24 provinces/cities, including 21 locations from the previous year: Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, An Giang, Can Tho, Kien Giang, Bac Lieu, and expanding to three more locations: Thua Thien - Hue, Binh Phuoc, and Tay Ninh. The results of Session 1 will be announced one week after the exam, on April 15.

Session 2 will be held on June 2 in 12 provinces/cities, including Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, An Giang. The results of Session 2 will be announced on June 10.

Candidates can participate in either Session 1, Session 2, or both to increase their chances of admission.

This year, VNUHCM continues to improve the payment method for candidates by focusing on using electronic wallets. Candidates can choose one of the four payment methods through Viettel Money, Foxpay, MoMo, and Payoo to complete the registration procedure.

VNUHCM's Aptitude Evaluation Exam exam emphasizes assessing basic abilities for university study, such as language use, logical reasoning, data processing, and problem-solving. The exam consists of 120 multiple-choice objective questions with a time limit of 150 minutes.

The structure of VNUHCM's Aptitude Evaluation Exam exam includes three parts: Language Use; Mathematics, Logical Thinking, Data Analysis; and Problem Solving, aiming to evaluate candidates' basic abilities for university study. The exam focuses on assessing reasoning and problem-solving abilities and does not evaluate candidates' memorization skills. Participating in the Aptitude Evaluation Exam exam will provide candidates with additional opportunities to be admitted to suitable majors and universities based on their personal choices.
